Halifax Humane Society’s mission is to protect animals from cruel, neglectful, and exploitative treatment. Envisioning a world where pets and people live happy, healthy lives together. Every community has a responsibility to its companion animals and should demand that they receive the care and respect they deserve.
Volunteer opportunities include: walking dogs, socializing cats, laundry, veterinarian assistance, event support, administrative tasks at the Redinger Spay & Neuter Clinic and sorting donations at the Halifax Humane Society Thrift Store.
